LESSON 10

Turn a forty-message thread into one decision

Long threads do not need summarizing. They need somebody to say what was decided.

Paste this:

Here is a long email thread. Tell me, in this order: what was actually decided, what is still open, who owes what to whom, and the one question I should ask to close this out. Keep the whole thing under 150 words.

Paste the thread in. It does not matter how messy it is or how out of order the replies are.

Names have to stay in for this one to work, so only paste a thread you would be comfortable forwarding. Take out account numbers, pay figures and anything medical.

Want this working across your whole team?

Free, always. No email, no account.
